I would just like to start this post off by saying a big thank you to every woman out there!
I have said thank you before on my other blog numerous times which has kind of made it hard to say thank you again as I don’t wish to repeat myself. I can’t thank you all enough. To my friends, carers, family, teachers and every woman that I have met.
You have all helped me in some way and I really do appreciate it. It really saddens me when women are not treated equally when you see the great work that you all do… it is ever so helpful. I would also like to say to every single woman I know you have made my life worth living.
Keep doing the great work that you all do, me and many others do appreciate you! I am so glad we have a day for you wonderful women.
I am really sorry to say that again I haven’t prepared a
post. I am just so concentrated on my other blog and videos that I just don’t
have time to prepare a post for here. And thinking of something inspiring each
week is surprisingly very hard.
All I can really say is sorry. From today forward there
will not be a post weekly. Posts will be coming every now and then. If you read
this post I mentioned about talking about world days. This is what this blog
shall be concentrating on from today forward. I can’t carry on promising if I
am not delivering. The last thing I want to do is keep on disappointing so if I
tell you this is the plan then we both know what is going on.
I can’t thank you all enough for all of you reading these
posts. I know I say it often but I do mean it! I am sorry it has come to this
and I really wished it didn’t however things need to change. Who knows in the
future weekly content may return. For now it comes every now and then and it
will definitely be on a Wednesday… unless I write an update which means it
could come out anytime!
If there is one thing I am not good at this year and that is preparation with this blog. I always seem to write something last minute here and it isn’t good. Some of you might think it’s laziness or I am not bothered with this blog.
Well it’s none of them reasons because I am so prepared with everything else. I have three videos ready for the next eight days for my YouTube and I am so in advance for my other blog. For some odd reason it’s a no go for this blog and it’s not good!
This doesn’t mean I am going to stop this blog because I love this blog and the amount of great feedback from my friends post about Friendship last week was amazing and due to that I am not going to stop! I also don’t want to stop inspiring you all. If I stop a part of me may never feel the same again. This is not a sad post! I just wanted to thank you for last week as it was just an amazing response and from now on I am planning on being very much in advance with this blog.
I just feel it is unacceptable that I am not delivering like I said I would. From this day forward I will try harder to not being do it last minute! Thanks for the continued support for this blog!
I appreciate it and more good content coming every week!
I have been asked by my good friend Isaac Harvey, to write something inspirational for all you great people out there. Now this has been hard for me, as I really had to think “what kind of inspirational message can I give to all you guys?”
Well then it came to me! A moment in time where everything became clear (kind of like the ones people get in movies). I should write about my friend Isaac. Whatever I say about him it just isn’t enough! This guy has been my mate since day one (those days when I was in year 7).
Read the above quote before carrying on. I know this is weird, but Isaac has been the ‘Octopus on my face since day one.’ I would like to thank him for always being there for me when I needed a friend, and for sticking by me & not following the trend. Get the joke?? Sticking?? Oh my God that must be the best joke ever. Right?? Any ways thanks for always being there for me brother & keeping me in line when I did something stupid or dumb.
“Friends are not easy to come by, bad ones go straight home. But over the years real ones start to show. The ones who pick you straight back up rather than kicking you down. Listen dude I know we’re not normal, but we live to stand out. But your hearts as big as anyone’s I know that’s still around. We've both said stupid things, No wait that’s me. Even though the chapter of school has closed, know that the book is still open for us to write our own destinies. This will be hard that I know, but whatever you end up doing in life. Know that our friendship will never be broken.”
Thanks for everything Isaac mate.
I will stop this poetry (if you can call it that?) right here, because its getting quite hard. But I think you get the overall message of the post though!
Just before I make my exit I would like to show you a video of someone else who inspires me. His name is Nick, please watch.
Today is not Valentine’s Day however it is the week leading up to the special day.
Most of you already know that I am not a fan of this day for a various of reasons. Since this blog is inspiring one then we will save my rants and discussions about the day for my other blog (coming this Friday).
Valentine’s day for me is a huge build up for companies to get money out of you and for single people to be more aware about them being single. Which honestly is very negative really. I feel that the ideal day should be the day that you show your love to your significant other and show that you really do love them. I can’t argue getting flowers and chocolate does help with that but how the media portrays this is that you MUST buy this and that…
See what I mean? The next point I wish to raise is… why should we even have Valentine’s Day when we should be showing this love every day? Most of you probably do this and that is very good. However, (and again this goes back to the media and companies) it’s just another way for them to get money. Do you really think these shops actually care about the actual meaning of love?
They are a shop and their goal is money. This is why they have all these stupid deals so that they get a profit by the end of the month. I did actually say I wouldn’t rant and I technically did but it just annoys me.
This Sunday show your love one that you love them… and don’t just do it on Sunday do it every day after. Thus having a healthy and productive relationship! Happy Valentine’s Day!
For the people like myself who are single… well I got you covered as I write about us on my other blog on Friday!
I know this is a Monday and don’t worry there will be another post on Wednesday. I just wanted to let you know a few things before then. I have been recently researching world days for someone and after looking at a few I have decided to write about them! For example in February there is Presidents’ Day and I would go ahead and write about it and letting you know that I won’t be talking about Presidents’ Day as it was just an example.
Sorry Obama! There are so many days that I have never heard of and because I don’t know you all probably don’t to. So if there is something important that week then you will know about it!
I have also decided that this blog is turning more into a community blog. This means you will see a variety of posts written by others. It could be a story, a poem, a life lesson and the list goes on. Hopefully, this Wednesday should be a first and it should be good! We are expanding this box and it should be good!
Thanks for the support so far and with that greater content coming soon.
Due to the positivity from last week I wish to continue it. I hope you all have been making people happy by smiling! If not then it’s not too late…
If you are the ones who have been smiling and making others happy… what is next? Well you should already know from the title!
Everyone deserves a hug. It doesn’t matter what gender you are or what race you might be… everyone deserves a hug! Now I am not going to tell you to go out there and hug everyone as not everyone wants a hug at any time. This is more of if a person looks that they need a hug then go for it and hug them! You mainly see it if their face is like this…
You lady deserve a hug! Don’t worry I have all my readers who will find you and make sure that you get a hug! Let’s make this place happier!
When getting last week’s post ready and finding pictures I came across a few quote pictures which caught my attention.
These days so many people are depressed over minor things and it is time to pick yourself up and get positive. Last week I said one way we can use our time is by making someone smile. If you haven’t already then you my friend have wasted time and we want to be the one who uses it effectively.
As the quote says you making that one person smile can change the world. Maybe not the whole world, but their world! It is a start to making this sad world a happier place. If you see this face…
…go up to that person and give them a big…
Even if you don’t know the person… make that person happy!
Everyone has time. Some of us waste time and some are very productive with time. We all have the same amount of time in life. Because of this I want us to be the some who is productive with time. As we only have one life and honestly we have to use it. How you might ask?
We can use our time to make someone smile.
We can use time to help someone in need.
We should use our time with our love ones.
We are sometimes stuck in our jobs or have personal things that occupy our time forgetting about the people around us. That is not good! Even though our jobs and personal goals are extremely important we just need to divide our time productively.
I know Christmas is over but I do wish to share this video that was made over the Christmas period. In November I was asked by the Brentwood Catholic Youth Service to make a video talking about Christmas and how we should reflect and pray. Been asked to make a video round this was difficult at first as thinking of something so soon proved difficult!
After a few days of thinking I decided to make up a story evolving around people who are less fortunate then us but adding a twist to it. I thought I would make a story talking about someone who has everything and wants nothing… however, at the end to make it even more thought provoking! I will let you watch the video and you will see what I mean!
As you saw it is a story you can interpret however you like but I mainly decided to share this with you all as this is something we should be doing every day. Not just at Christmas time! I want us all this year to think about others and actually realise how lucky we actually are!
Happy New Year all! Hope you all had a good Christmas and
New Year celebrations! Hopefully none of you had too much turkey!
I am here to tell you all about the future of this blog!
I have decided that this blog is now dedicated to inspiring the individual…
that being you! I won’t be talking about disability or me personally (I say
that lightly as I will still be using me as examples in some stories just not
as much) as I have just started posting on my old blog again and tomorrow you
will know more about what you will find their! If you haven’t seen that blog
yet then please visit it here by clicking here!
Also, as you have probably seen I have decided to add pictures
to posts as just text can be very boring! That is all and like before every Wednesday
without fault.
2015 for me was the year of opportunity… 2016 will be the
year of inspiration! I hope you are all ready for this year as I am so ready!!
